Full Speed is the story of a family setting out for their summer vacation who find themselves on a hair-raising roller-coaster ride when the cruise control jams at top speed on their brand-new state-of-the-art MPV. The always strenuous annual jaunt turns into a nightmare for the Cox family when Grandpa Ben joins them uninvited, bringing along a young, oddly attractive hitchhiker, and the supposedly reassuring, computer- controlled vehicle refuses to slow down. Pregnant, Julia must patch the marital strains and keep the kids and her excentric father-in –law in line while a frantic Tom steers the runaway MPV through steadily thickening holiday traffic.
